Not done any birding this weekend till today because of family being up from Derby. There was 2 Adult Med Gulls 1 with a Green ring on it at Silloth on the green whilst we were out with the kids.
Today they returned home so i nipped to Workington pier for a sea watch where i met up with Keith. He had already done Soddy and the flash so i went straight to the Pier.
On Arriving there were 2 Raven on the beach, then on the sea watch 3 Arctic Skuas chasing the Sandwich Terns, Pale, Dark and Intermediate phases..Then Keith found a Bonxie sat quite close to us on the water, it then gave us a great close flypast. Other things of note were 2 Grey Wagtail flew out to sea, 1 Gannet, 4 Guillemots, 3 Fulmar and an 2nd winter Med Gull....
