I made a quick stop at the Bass lake Osprey nest tonight and this is what i saw! Presumably a female, it swooped to the ground and brought up a large tuft of grass. (click to enlarge)

Osprey
At Work Chiffchaff calling. (Teesdale) As well as the usual Grey Wagtail, Dipper, Black Grouse and a few Goldcrest, The 2 Goshawk may have been taken by the keepers as there been no sign for ages.
